AAU Program Spring ‘24
New Paltz’s only AAU program Keith Kenney Basketball AAU Basketball program read to go this Spring ‘24!
7th, 8th, 9th, 10th grade boys spring AAU.
(All levels are contingent upon having enough interest)
11th grade boys! We would love to offer a 11th grade team if there is enough interest. Parents are encouraged to email kk@keithkenneybasketball.com if they are interested.
Tryouts are $10 and registration is required. Link is below.
Tryouts:
Saturday, March 16 at SUNY New Paltz
9:00am: 7th & 8th Grade boys
10:30am: 9th & 10th Grade boys
12:00pm: 11th grade boys

Practices
Starts week of April 1.
At SUNY New Paltz
TBD: Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturday morning and/or Sunday mornings
*Practice days and times will be determined after tryouts but will be on the days above in some combination of 1-2 practices per week.
Times: TBD but between 7pm-9pm most likely
*I will try and make practices as consistent as possible but I may have to be flexible based on the college's schedule changing from time to time.
At tryout time I will have exact schedule for April/May
Tournaments
This will be determined by the level of the team we field. We should have a tentative schedule by tryout date of March 16
Cost
Tryout Fee: $10
Team Cost: Will be determined by March 16 based on tourneys and roster size.
Teams will be coached by college coaches (including SUNY New Paltz Head Coach Keith Kenney) and highschool coaches and look to compete at a high level.

AAU Program Launch Spring ‘23
🚨Officially launching Keith Kenney Basketball AAU Basketball program this Spring ‘23! 🚨
SUNY New Paltz will be the home of Keith Kenney Basketball AAU program! Teams will be coached by college coaches and high school coaches, including SUNY New Paltz Men’s Basketball Head Coach Keith Kenney.
Interested? Register for the Virtual General Interest Meeting on Thursday, January 19 at 8pm. This will answer all questions and give out information before our March 10 & 12 tryout.
Please fill out the General Interest Google Form link and you will receive the Google Meet link invite to Jan 19 meeting.
If you cannot make the meeting please email Keith Kenney at kk@keithkenneybasketball.com and we will send you the information after the meeting.
Level: We will definitely be offering a 8th & 9th grades boys team but based upon interest would like to add girls teams
and other levels as well. Please attend the GI meeting on Jan 19 so we can gauge interest of reach leaves
Location: Team will be based out of SUNY New Paltz.
Tryout: March 10 & 12 @SUNY New Paltz
Practice & Tourneys: 2-3 practices per week, 4-5 tournaments from March - June.

Pre-Season Training Program
Dates: Sept 13- October 6, 2022
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Who: Girls and Boys 7th-12th grade
Time: 7:30pm-9:00pm
Where: SUNY New Paltz
Cost: $170 per player ($150 sibling discount)
Pre-Season Training Program at SUNY New Paltz this Fall. The kids will train, practice and scrimmage. Lot of skills, instruction and competing against each other. This is a co-ed program to get everyone ready for the school tryouts or seasons.
Also, my goal is try and put a team (or two) into one (or two) AAU tourney if there is enough interest from this group and the numbers work out. I might add a Sunday morning practice for kids interested in this option. (There is a tourney Sept 24/25 I have my eye on but also other dates.)

3 on 3 Compete!
Dates: 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14
3 on 3 instruction and games each session. Winners stay, losers walk! You will be taught 3 on 3 actions for the first 15 minutes and then complete in multiple 3 on 3 games in your session. 3 on 3 is one of the best ways to teach and compete! Prizes will be given!
Who: Girls and Boys 6th-12th grade
Time: 9:00am-10:00am (girls)
10:15am-11:15am (boys)
Where: SUNY New Paltz
Cost: $60 per player or $15 per session. You can select any session you like at registration. Payment will be due at first session you attend.
Register individually. You will be place on a different team each session according to age and skill level. All levels are welcome.
